Top 10 Mics Hots Up

As the 23 December concert date for the Top 10 Mics draws closer, the momentum is gathering faster with the success of the pre-concert party held weekend at upscale celebrity hangout, Swe Bar, City Mall, Lagos.

The pre-concert party had rave artiste Wizkid dazzling the crowd with the lounge of Swe Bar filled with favorite celebrities including the likes of former Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu, prolific filmmaker,  Kunle Afolayan and Lynxxx.
Put together by KOGA Entertainment, Top 10 Mics will feature 10 artistes who are billed to perform live on stage at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos. The artistes are led by Afro Juju music star Sir Shina Peters, Femi Kuti, 2face Idibia and Abass Obesere.
Others are PSquare, ElDee, Mo’cheddah, Duncan Mighty, M.I and Wizkid. All will perform with live band.
The choice of artistes at the concert is akin to an eclectic collection of different genre of music ranging from hip-hop, rhythm and blues, fuji to afro juju and dancehall.
“We want to make a very big statement with this concert, we are doing an open air concert the way it should be done. And we would do everything humanly possible to make sure that the memory of the event lingers several months after,” Anu Awoseyi, an official of KOGA said.
